"Skylark played at our daughters wedding earlier this month. We had heard them before and thought they would be perfect for the guests to chill out to before the speeches began and how right we were. Leona has a beautiful voice and along with Mark on the guitar and vocals they just click and are so easy to listen to and their play list is brilliant and varied with their own spin on different tracks. The guests were young and older and they pleased everyone and just made the atmosphere relaxed. Would recommend for any function to be fair.... nice people too!

"Wow! Skylark Acoustic were the 'icing on the cake' to our wedding last Thursday 2nd June. We hired Leona and Mark to sing in the church for the bride's entrance, signing the register and exit of the bride and groom and each song sounded beautiful. All of our guests said they got goosebumps when Leona started to sing 'Songbird' ready for the start of the service and her vocals were soft and elegant! Leona and Mark then also played at our wedding reception at Deans Court in Wimborne where our guests were happily entertained whilst myself and my new husband went for photos. They set up without a fuss and were an absolute pleasure to have as an added extra to the day. My guests had only positive comments and said Skylark Acoustic truly added to the day. Leona was a pleasure to correspond with throughout the planning of the wedding and was so lovely when we met her at the rehearsal the evening before. "We are so happy that we chose Leona and Ali to play at our wedding in February 2012. Prior to our big day, we met up with Leona at our venue to discuss what we were after and she kept in contact to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Leona had plenty of ideas for what they could play as well as being fully open to our requests. Ali played his guitar beautifully as our guests arrived at our ceremony, and they sang and played fantastic renditions of our favourite songs ‘English Rose’ and ‘How Strong My Love Is’ as we were signing the wedding registers.They helped to make an excellent end to our ceremony by singing and playing ‘Let’s Stay Together’ as we left the church. Perfect! They returned again for the first hour of our evening reception, playing a livelier set and finishing by playing our First Dance song, which was just perfect.
